Attorney Jessica L. Patterson
Experienced. Dedicated. Committed to Justice.
I became a lawyer because I believe in standing up for others, fighting for justice, and helping people feel heard, empowered, and supported—especially in some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Whether I’m representing a parent in crisis, advocating for a child in court, or guiding someone through an unfamiliar legal process, I bring a commitment to zealous advocacy and a deep respect for every client’s voice and story.
My practice is grounded in a strong foundation of litigation and trial experience, and I take pride in offering strategic, client-centered representation. I focus on child and family law and LGBTQ+ advocacy, and I also provide Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) to make legal support more flexible and accessible. I understand the stakes are high in many of the cases I take on, and I’m dedicated to fighting hard in and out of the courtroom to protect my clients’ rights and achieve meaningful outcomes.
I earned my Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and my LLM from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. I have built my practice around the values of integrity, empathy, and fearless advocacy.
If you’re looking for an attorney who will not only stand by your side but also speak up for you, I’d be honored to help.
